LOOKING BACK

Born and raised in Mexico, with an American father and a Swiss mother, my multicultural background means I am highly adaptable. I speak Spanish, French and English as native languages and have learned Italian and German.

Sports has always been an important part of my life, particularly soccer which I played quite seriously with the under 17 years old female team in Mexico.

Graduation Hat Throw

I studied International Affairs at the top Mexican school; Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM). I then obtained a master’s degree in International Economics from the Univerisdad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB).

After almost 10 years of not being a student I decided to do an Executive MBA at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) which I successfully completed December 2019. Today, I'm member of the Alumni Advisory Council to the President.

Holding Plant

In 2006 I volunteered at an Internally Displaced People Center in Nepal where war was ravaging the country, developing a passion for social and humanitarian services. In 2009, I joined the World Bank in Mexico, to then act as a Governmental Affairs specialist at the largest philanthropy institution in Mexico: Nacional Monte de Piedad.

In 2011 I received a job offer that, although it was far from what I had done so far, represented an opportunity to learn and reinvent myself, thus I moved to Geneva and  joined UBS.
